Day 02 – SIEM REAP TEMPLE TOUR
After breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom included South Gate, Bayon temple most popular for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara. Then continue to Baphoun - this temple was taken 16 years to restore and had become known as the largest 3D jigsaw puzzle in the world. After that visit Terrace of Elephant,Terrace of Leper King, and Ta Prohm - this temple is unique by its trees growing out of the ruins and surrounded by the jungle.
Lunch at local restaurant around temple (own account). After lunch, visit CDF duty free store before heading to Angkor Wat temple known as the largest religious Monument in the world. Discover the magnificent architecture and detailed wall reliefs with interesting story lines. Continue exploring till sunset. After dinner, free time to explore Pub Street & Night Market.
Day 03 - FEB: SIEM REAP – BANTEY SREI
Breakfast at hotel, meet our guide and driver get you to visit Bantey Srei temple. Banteay Srei or Banteay Srey is a 10th- century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Located in the area of Angkor, it lies near the hill of Phnom Dei, 25 km (16 mi) north-east of the main group of temples that once belonged to the medieval capitals of Yaśodharapura and Angkor Thom. Banteay Srei is built largely of red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to the elaborate decorative wall carvings which are still observable today. The buildings themselves are miniature in scale, unusually so when measured by the standards of Angkorian construction. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourists, and have led to its being widely praised as a "precious gem", or the "jewel of Khmer art".
DAY 04 : SIEM REAP – KAMPONG PHLUK FLOATING VILLAGE
After breakfast, meet our guide and driver will enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake at Kampong Phluk village. Kampong Phluk is a commune in Prasat Bakong District in Siem Reap Province Cambodia. The name means "Harbor of the Tusks". The community largely depends on fishing for survival, primarily shrimp, spending Cambodia's wet season (May-October) fishing. Many houses and buildings are constructed on stilts ranging from 6 m to 9 m to accommodate the changes in water level between wet and dry seasons. How pupils go to school in Kampung Phluk. During the dry season (November-April) as the river thins due to receding water, many turn to farming to supplement their income. Tourism, which started in the village approximately 10 years ago, is also a growing part of the local economy. Lunch at local restaurant (own account).
